Carl Dean Bowles, 79, of Vinton, passed away Monday, October 2, 2017. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Junnie, five brothers and four sisters. Surviving family includes his son, Darrell Bowles; grandchildren, Ruby Bowles, Brishen Bowles, Leila Bowles, Kayla Snellings, and Austin Snellings; daughter, Kathleen Snellings; step-children, Jerry and Deidre; niece, Sherry; loving and faithful friend, Peggy Brown; best friend, Wade Conner; special friends, David and Linda, Gloria, Barbara, Becky Brandenberger, Jerry and Cindy Harris, Cora and Chester Sturgill, and Jimmy at Sherwood. Carl was a loving and Christian man who loved his family, friends and his church. Graveside service 12:30 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Sherwood Memorial Park with Pastor Brian Hughes and Pastor Ray Campbell officiating.
