Plybon, Howard “Fast Eddie”, of Blue Ridge, passed away at home on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Fast Eddie enjoyed any type of professional racing, traveling, cruising and car shows. He was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Pearl Plybon. Surviving family includes his loving wife, Virgie Cheryl; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny Plybon and Stephen and Renee Underwood; grandchildren, Chastity and Brendan Underwood; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, close friends and racing buddies. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2014 from  2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.
