Hoback, Elizabeth Ann Walters, 74, of Salem, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was a long time member of East Gate Church of the Nazarene and a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by her family who loved her. She was predeceased by her parents, Seibert and Mary Walters; brothers, William, Jessie, Benny and Jimmie. Surviving family includes sons and daughters-in-law, Steven and Carliss Hoback of Salem and James and Marcia Hoback of Pilot; granddaughters, Allison Paige Hoback and Abigail Elizabeth Hoback of Salem; step-grandson, William Hampton of Pembroke; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Dora Walters of Middletown, RI and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor George Stevenson and Pastor Shannon Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Huffville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Huffville, VA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Funeral Home.
