Wanda A Evans

Wanda Allison Evans, 61, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2021. She was born and raised in Roanoke. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack B. and Barbara A. Allison and brother Larry W. Allison.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband, James B. Evans Jr.; sister, Donna A. Henderson and husband Robert O. Shelton of Roanoke; uncle, Anthony C. Eades. Her spirit lives on through her daughter Melissa A. Lasley and husband Chris of Kernersville, N.C.; step-daughter, Heather M. Clewis; grand-children, Bryce, Austin, Brynn, Caleb, Luke, Troy and James; nieces, Amanda Henderson and Ally Davidson.
Her family was her life and she cared about them all and especially enjoyed spoiling her babies. Her companion and guardian Fur baby Toby. She was a member of First Christian Church of High Point N.C.
The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 10, 2021 at Lotz Vinton Chapel. A private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society in Hospice of Rockingham County, N.C. in Wanda’s honor.
