Tammy Sue Bland

Tammy Sue Bland, 56, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was a dedicated daughter, mother and grandmother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren, embracing every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Gram. She had a caring personality and always made people around her feel loved. Tammy was greeted by her precious girl, Brittany Nicole Henley, in the afterlife on May 02, 2021 after a courageous battle with complications due to COVID-19. 

Tammy is survived by her parents, Marilyn and Ray Sink; daughter, Devin Renee Williamson and husband Dustin; five grandchildren, Patrick, Bella, Raylan, Tylee and Zuko; sister, Pamela Burroughs and husband Andre; uncle, Jerry Holdren; aunt, Linda Lawrence; cousins, Cindy and Alexander Gibson. Tammy also adored all of her friends at Wells Fargo Bank, namely Kiera and Laura, she so enjoyed all of her time there. 

A special thank you is owed to all of the nurses and doctors at RMH ICU, specifically nurse Andra and Dr. M, , who showed Tammy and her family grace and kindness through out her time there.

A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor Sherrill Michael officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Online condolences and a live webcast may be found at www.lotzfuneralhomevinton.com
