Shirley Ann Thomas

Shirley Ann Chisom Thomas, 85, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Luther Frank and Annie Jane Chisom, of Goodview; seven brothers; three sisters; and her beloved son, Michael David Thomas. She is survived by sons William “Al” Thomas, Clinton, IN; Frank R. Thomas, Roanoke; grandson, Trey E. Thomas, Clinton, IN; sister, Omega Chandler, Goodview; and a host of extended family.
She was retired from Elizabeth Arden/Unilever manufacturing plant after 33 years of service. She enjoyed traveling with her sister, Jean Preston, to her son’s home in Indiana for several Thanksgiving dinners. She also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching tennis, and especially loved watching Jeopardy.
