Roger Ferguson

Roger Lee Ferguson, of Vinton, passed away on July 29, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hubert H. Ferguson and Mattie Poff Ferguson; parents, Leo R. Ferguson and Thelma Sloane Ferguson; infant sister, Penny Irene Ferguson; brother, Donald Ray Ferguson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54+ years Elizabeth B. Ferguson; daughters, Amy D. Ferguson, Jaime E. Ferguson (Danny Reed), Kristen L. Ferguson; grandchildren, Kaitlyn N. Ferguson, Coleton Reed; sisters, Patricia F. Bouvier, Martha E. Reid (James Reid), Louise F. Perdue, Betty F. Jones (Gary Jones); brother in-law, Robert E. Ferguson; sister in-law, Mable C. Booze and her daughter Dottie L. Booze; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 1, 2022 at Lotz Vinton Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be a graveside service Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. J.R. Graybill officiating. There will be a procession leaving Lotz Vinton Chapel Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. to the cemetery.
