David R Amos

David R. Amos, 70, of Goodview, passed away Wednesday, February, 10, 2021. He was a member of Nineveh Church of the Brethren and was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Mary Amos, and his first wife, Patricia Amos.

Surviving family includes his wife of 30 years, Shirley Amos; children, Randy Amos, and Robin (Mark) Anderson; step-children, Donnie (Josey) Rickman, Tony (Kristin) Rickman, and Marcie Martin; son-in-law, Joey Martin; ten grandchildren; eight Great-grandchildren; sister, Martha (Mark) Dalton, and nephew, Brian Garland.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor Tim Emmons and Pastor Sam Light officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
