Michael Ray Hairfield

Michael Hairfield, age 72 passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Roanoke, Va.
Michael was born December 1, 1949 to John C. Hairfield and Mattie V. Hairfield (Bowling).

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, John C. Hairfield, and Mattie V. Hairfield (Bowling), and grandparents, J.R Bowling and Fairy Bowling (Saunders).

Michael is survived by his sister, Frances V. Gray and husband, Wayne Gray; nieces, Tamra Lovern, Michelle Ayers; great-nieces, Ashley and April Lovern; uncle Sam Bowling; aunts, Dester Poage, Joyce Cooper, and many cousins, and family friends.

He went to Jefferson High School in Roanoke, Virginia. While Michael never married he lived a
full vibrant life and had many friends. Michael's interests were softball, billiards, and NASCAR,
especially Jeff Gordon.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Willis Family for all they did for Michael. Thanks to Parkway Wesleyan Church were he was an active member and to Pastor John Ott.
