Merle (Pat) H. Watts, Jr., 85, of Roanoke, VA passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017. He was born in New York State on September 26, 1931 to the late Merle Watts Sr. and wife Lillian.  He was predeceased by a son, John Watts.

Surviving family includes his wife and best friend of 67 years, Hester Julia Watts: two sons,  Richard Watts and Merle Watts III and wife Glolyn: two daughters, Linda Brimmer and husband Dean , and Diane Lundell and husband Alex: two brothers, George Watts , and Harold and wife Rosanne (Candy) Watts: daughter-in-law, Jackie Watts and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

There will be no service or visitation per Merle’s wishes. Please consider contributions to the American Heart Association.
