Margaret Tyler Young

Margaret Tyler Young, 80, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021. She was a devout Christian, Mother, and The best Grandmother, and a friend to someone in their darkest hour. She's passed on to meet her lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Her Husband - Norman Young, her mother, father, and her dear sister Mary. She lived and breathed God's word and was a winner of many souls. Her favorite verse of the bible was "Psalms 121" . She loved singing, watching the red sox with her husband, telling jokes, and Her smile and laughter could light up any room. She'll be sorely missed but she's walking the golden streets of heaven hand and hand with Norman.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Norman David Young; her father and mother, Marvin Tyler and Janet Teffenteller, and a sister, Mary Dehaven Fore.

Surviving family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Lisa Young; daughter, Paula Hudson; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Debra Young; grandchildren, Ashley Steele, Jessica Wagner, Tyler Young, Rachel Young, Shanan Winfield, Jeremy Nicely, Ryan Young, and Victoria Young; seven great-grandchildren; special niece, Patricia Robertson; best friend, Peggy, and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Mark Washington officiating.
