Linda Leah Kidd

On February 23, 2020, Linda L Kidd was called home to be with her Heavenly Father.

Linda lived most of her life working and raising her children in Vinton, Va. After her children left home to raise families of their own, Linda relocated and spending most of her time with friends working, and volunteering in High Point, NC.

In 2016, Linda relocated back to Vinton, Va to live out her remaining years surrounded by the love of her family and friends. 

Linda was a blessing to any life she touched bringing them joy and laughter. She was beautiful inside and out with a smile that would brighten and illuminate everywhere she entered. Wisdom, love, compassion, and understanding poured out of her.

Linda leaves behind her bother Pete, of North Carolina, two daughters, LyDonna Duncun and her husband Pete from Moneta, VA, and Dana Hill and her husband John Hill Sr. of Vinton, VA. Five Grandchildren, Travis Dooley and his wife Heather of Vinton, Va, Sherera Butler of Florida, Michael Dooley and his wife Brittany of Roanoke, VA, Tara Summer and her husband Jeremiah of Roanoke, VA, and Crystal Hill of Vinton, VA. Five step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchldren.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, James and Eva Kidd of Vinton, VA, three bothers, and granddaughter Rhonda L Caldwell of Roanoke, VA. And step-grandson Timmy Duncun of Roanoke, VA. 

Linda is loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
