Laura Mae McNeill

Laura Mae McNeill, 81, passed away at home on Thursday afternoon, September 30, 2021. She was predeceased by her wonderful husband, Howard Grayson McNeill, who she met at Washington Bible College, Washington, DC, and with whom she faithfully served with in the ministry for over 50 years.

Surviving family includes her children, Reverend David McNeill (Kristi) of Blue Ridge, Robin McNeill Dunavant (Doug) of Dublin, and Danny McNeill (Paula) of Taylor Mill, Kentucky; grandchildren, Ashley McNeill Mustian (Paul), Lee McNeill (Brittney), Kaylee McNeill Meade (Mike), Shae Dunavant Caldwell (Ray), Heather Dunavant, Kari Dunavant Perfater (Kevin), Holli McNeill Quinn (Matthew), Zachary McNeill, and, Molly McNeill; great-grandchildren, Kaci, Kylie, and Kinsley Caldwell, Carter and Bryson Mustian, Gracelyn and Lydia McNeill, Graycen Dunavant, Karson and Kyler Perfater, Caden Quinn, and DJ Meade, and beloved cousin, Jane Vineyard of Knoxville, TN.

She was ready to meet her Lord and excited to be with her husband in Heaven. We are thankful for the Godly influence and heritage that she left for us all to treasure. A celebration of her life will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church, 2315 Blue Ridge Blvd., Roanoke, with Rev. David McNeill officiating.
