Juanita G. Mitchell

Juanita G. Mitchell, 89, of Roanoke, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 19, 2018. She was predeceased by her loving husbands, Carlton Turner, Eddie Glenn Smith, and Dewey Leslie Mitchell; parents, Joseph and Bessie Gregory; six brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving family includes her daughter, Sherry Smith Roberts and husband, Robin; step children Diane Merritt, Gary Mitchell and wife, Libby; grandchildren, Chuck Kirby and wife, Kristi, Chris Mitchell and wife, Colleen, and Carrie Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Carson, Tommy, Amber, Ethan, Jada, and Elijah; brother, Melvin Gregory and wife, Peggy.
She was a life-long Christian and was always concerned for and gave to those less fortunate.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregivers. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
