Juanita Jones Jackson

Juanita Jones Johnson Jackson, 88, of Rochester, NY passed away Tuesday, May 16 2023. She was born in Williamston, SC. Juanita moved to High Point, NC in 1953 where she met her first husband. She then moved to Rochester, NY in 1966 where she met her second husband. Mom lived her last days with her daughter Hedy in Hardy, VA. We all miss her dearly. She is the only child of the late Herman Jones and Josephine Hamilton Jones. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her son, Willard Dwight Jones; first husband, Matthew Johnson, Sr. and her second husband, Joshaway Jackson.

Surviving are her son, Matthew Johnson, Jr. and his wife, Faye of Honea Path, SC and his only child Nicholas Johnson of Texas; son, Joe Herman Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona and his only child Tia Matthews of Columbus, Ohio and her two children; daughter, Hedy Susaye Johnson Barry and her husband, John of Hardy, Virginia and her daughter, Marlena Danielle Robinson Campbell and husband Carlo Campbell of Baltimore/Philadelphia area.
