James Loyd Minter Jr

James Loyd Minter Jr “Jim”, 67, of Martinsville, VA, formally of Vinton, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday April 15, 2021. He was a long-time supporter of the boy scouts. He retired from Hooker furniture after a long career there. He is survived by his beloved son, James Loyd Minter III “Jimmy” and his wife Britaney Minter, his father, James Minter Sr., his sister, Barbra Knetch and her family. Jim is also survived by his three grandchildren, Zach Minter, Aubreyona Minter, and Bryceson Minter. He is proceeded in death by his mother Marjalee Minter. Funeral Services will be held at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton, VA on Saturday April 24, 2021 at 2pm. The family will receive friends following the service.
