St.Clair and Vera Lawhorn St.Clair. Jim was predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Janie Brown St.Clair; two sisters, Frances (Layman) Williamson and Dorothy Leonard; four brothers, Alvin St.Clair, Walter (Willie) St.Clair, Clarence (Diddle) St.Clair, and Sherman (Barbara) St.Clair.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Wayne St.Clair, Glenn “Snap” (Rita) St.Clair; daughter, Betty (Steve) Gardner; two grandsons, Neil (Christina) Gardner, and Dennis (Jessica) Gardner; granddaughter, Kimberly Wingfield; great-grandsons, Austin and Gavin Gardner; great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn St.Clair and Claira Wills; two brothers, Waverly “Dute” (Shirley) St.Clair, and Ronnie (Donna) St.Clair; brother-in-law, Robert (Bob) Leonard and several nieces and nephews.
Jim retired from Burlington Industries and Precision Fabrics after 45 years of service. He loved farming, his cattle and gardening. Our family would like to thank the Noble Seniors Living Elks Home Campus and Centra Hospice for the care they gave our Daddy, “Papa Jim”. They were his family when we couldn’t be there during this pandemic.
Due to Covid 19, we are having a private family graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Gardner officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.lotzfuneralhomevinton.com
