Helen Minnix Moorman, 85, of Hardy went to be with her Savior Friday, January 18, 2019. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Gracie Minnix and her beloved husband Jewel V. Moorman, brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Meador (Chester Brown); sons, Jay V. Moorman (Barbara), Dwayne D. Moorman (Michelle); grandchildren, Keith Meador, Kim M. Powell (Lee), Jessica Moorman (Ryan Edwards), Drew Moorman (Haley); great grandchildren, Griffin Meador, Brynn Meador, Gavin Powell, Emma Powell, Riley Edwards; sister, Judy Kunderman (Craig); brother, Leslie Minnix (Nancy) Several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Lotz Vinton Chapel on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A celebration of Helens life will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at the Lotz Vinton Chapel with Pastor Glenn Stinnett officiating.
