Harvey B. DeWeese, 66, passed away March 9, 2022 with family by his side. Harvey was a loving and caring person. He enjoyed spending time up on the mountain, fishing, biking, and more. Above all he loved his friends and family more than anything. He was predeceased by his father Harvey Jacob and his mother Garnet Lucille.
Surviving family includes his wife, Susie DeWeese; daughter, Crystal Masterson and son in-law James Masterson; three grandchildren, Hayden Sowers, Madison Masterson, and Kyndra Masterson; sister, Marcia McGee and brother in-law David McGee; niece, Samatha Estep and her husband Steve; sister, Gladys Belcher and husband Marvin Belcher; two nieces, Gloria Boose and Melissa Isaacs; sister, Nita DeWeese, and special mention of his niece Amy Lee Mills; beloved friends include, Dan Brugh, Russell Nelson, Shawn Carter (dirty face), Paxton, Charlie Martin in Heaven and so many more family and friends he loved dearly. We thank you all for being a part of his life.
There will be no funeral, as per request of Harvey DeWeese. After some time for the family, a release of his ashes and a celebration of life will be held. Date and time to be determined. Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton will be handling all affairs in regards to his cremation.
