Gerald Raymond Barbour, 89, of Vinton, passed away April 15, 2017, at his home unexpectantly. He retired from Appalachian Power Company and served in the U.S. Navy. He was predeceased by his parents; Lewis and Rosella Barbour, brother; Pete Barbour and sister; Irene Stultz.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 66 years Iona Barbour, daughter; Donna Bush (Rick ), sons; Randy Barbour (Jacqueline) and Rick Barbour (Anita), grandchildren; Chris Bush (Stephanie), Kristin Kidd (John), Cory Bush, Michael Barbour and Laura Barbour, great grandchildren; Davis and Kate Kidd.
