Obituary
Evelyn Marie Miller, 82, of Bedford, lovingly surrounded by her family, entered peacefully into heaven September 11, 2018. Evelyn was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Charlie L. Miller.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her four children, Terry L. Miller (Brenda), Steven L. Miller (Mary Ann), Nita Pollifrone (Patrick), and Lisa Sayers. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and their spouses (10), 32 great grandchildren (1 spouse), and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Our mother was very close to her brothers, Wayne Sutphin (Knoxville, TN), David Sutphin (Roanoke, VA), her sisters Djuna Wilhem (Yorktown, VA) and Judy Wilson (Clark) (Winston-Salem, NC).
A special heartfelt thanks to mom's best friend and cousin, Carol Webb and husband Ray, she dearly loved their visits and long phone conversations.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Oakwood Health & Rehab for all of their love and care shown to our mom in the last 3 years. She loved all of you and praised you for your many kindnesses.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton, followed by Interment at Campbell Family Cemetery, Welcome Valley Road, Roanoke, VA.
