Elaine Marion Andrea, 73, of Vinton, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. She had a strong faith and love for the Lord. She was predeceased by her husband, Joe Andrea; brothers, Lyle Zenkel and Larry McArthur, and in-laws, Charles R. Andrea and wife, Frances.

Surviving family includes her daughters, Joleen Thompson and Carie Layman and husband, Greg; grandchildren, Marie and Holly Thompson, Jonathan Mixon and fiancé, Katlyn Chaney, and Jared Layman; many nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. The family wishes a special thanks to her friends, Hannah Forbes and Hillary Minnix for staying close by her side while she was ill.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Pastor Rick Smithers officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton.
