Donald Clayton Phillippe, 75, of Vinton, passed away December 10, 2017. He retired from Vinton Weaving Mill after 30 years of service. He was predeceased by his parents; Everett and Virginia Phillippe, sons: Ronnie E. Phillippe, Barry K. Phillippe, nephew; Roger Oliver.
He is survived by his daughter; Deborah P. McGuire, sister; Carolyn Shifflett, brothers; Wayne M. Phillips and Dennis L. Phillippe (Cynthia Dennise), Grandchildren; Brittney, Bobby, Destiny, James, Cierra, Jamie, Kasey, great grandchild; Keith Eugene and other great grandchildren, special friends : Sean and Fred McFadden, Jack Cash and Robert Oliver and his special babies, kittens, birds and fish.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Vinton Chapel. There will be a graveside service on Thursday, December 14, 2017, 11 A.M., at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Art Good officiating.
