David Scott

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of David Mitchell Scott , 62, of Roanoke. David took his last breath in his family home on February 23, 2022.after a long and courageous battle with cancer. . He was preceded in death by his father, James "Tootie" Scott, his mother, Virginia Scott, and his brother, Donnie Scott.
David is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Michaela Scott, Brittany Trent; sons, Shane Scott, Mike King, John King and David Trent; grandchildren, Myka Scott, Charlotte Fulghum, and Cameron King.
David was a soft spoken man who enjoyed the simpler things in life. You would often find him outdoors "tinkering" or sitting on the deck with his fur-babies, Taz and Piper. He also enjoyed attending car shows and, in his free time, he played guitar. "Thank you Dave for all the memories. All the love and the laughter. Until we meet again, I will hold you in my heart and love you, forever and a day. "
The family will receive friends, Wednesday, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. , March 2,2022 at Lotz Vinton Chapel. There will be a Celebration of Davids' life 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Vinton Chapel.
