`Barbara Ann Clement

Barbara A. Clement, 83, of Vinton, went home to be with the Lord on November 21, 2021. She was born on November 30, 1937 in Bedford County. She was born in an old Boy Scout cabin, one of four children of the late E. Clinton and E. Virginia Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lloyd Everett Clement; grandchildren Auna Clement and Derek Bishop; brother, Calvin Carter

Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Greg Clement, Wendell Clement, Boyd Clement and wife Kim, Clyne Clement, Delores Clement, Mike Martin, Duval Clement and wife Shannon; grandchildren Melissa, Christopher, Allen, Amanda, Casey, Chad, Amber Cody, Brooke, Lexis, Alan, Chris; and 13 great grandchildren; sister, Sylvia Ribble and husband Ed; brother Berkley Carter and wife Carolyn. Many nieces and nephews, cousins and her church family that was very dear to her.

She was a born again Christian and attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Hardy. She loved being a dispatcher in the trucking business, her nick name was “Baltimore Barbara”. Her main job in life was a wife, mother and grandmother.
