Amanda Nicole Ellison

Amanda Nicole Ellison, 28, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Amanda was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke. She was predeceased by her mother, Norma Lynn Leffel of Bluefield WV.

Surviving family includes her parents, Bryan Ellison and step-mother, Kristin Ellison, of Goodview; grandparents, Kathy Ann Barrett of Bluefield, Thomas and Jean Leffel of Newport News, and John and Tawney Moller of Virginia Beach; brothers, Keith Ellison of Salem, Michael Leffel of Hampton, and Earl Easterwood of Newport News; sisters, Kimberly Ellison of Roanoke, and, Katelyn Ellison of Elliston; step-sister, Chandler Cox of North Carolina; step-brothers, Kody Cox of Roanoke and Grant Cox of Salem, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of her life will be Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton. There will be no public viewing or visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, Development Office at 601 Children’s Lane, Norfolk, VA 23507 (the hospital that saved Amanda’s life coming into this world.
