Tommy Roosevelt Lyle, 81, of Bonsack, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was a long time member of Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren and was retired from N & W Railroad after 42 years of service. He was predeceased by his daughter, Bonnie Ann Lyle; daughter-in-law, Tina Lyle; son-in-law, M. C. Walker and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving family includes his wife of 60 years, Eunice Lyle; sons, Donnie Lyle and Barry Lyle; daughters, Robin Dunbar and Vickie Walker; granddaughters, Ashlee Dunbar and Brittany Dunbar, and great-grandson, Kyler Dunbar.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Blue Ridge Church of the Brethren. Interment will follow in Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
