Ms. Shirley Bailey Williams

Shirley Bailey Williams, 87, of Vinton passed away Monday, March 18, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Bailey and Opal Caudle Bailey. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Phillip Barry Williams and Timothy Lee Williams; and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Bailey.

Surviving are her son David Allen Williams; sister, Margie Lyke; granddaughter, Emily Renae Williams; great-grandchildren, Kendell, Penelope and Silas; best friend, Brenda Robinette Hale; numerous other family and friends; and her fur baby, Rosie.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 12:00 pm, Monday, March 25, 2024, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church, 1030 Bible Lane, Vinton, Va. 24179. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held at 12 noon following the visitation with Pastor Bobby Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery-Vinton.
