Evelyn Grimes Hudson

Evelyn Grimes Hudson, 89, of Vinton passed away Thursday, February 15, 2024. She was a daughter of the late William Grimes and Lula Sweeney Grimes. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin J. Hudson and one brother, Hubert Grimes.

Surviving are her daughter, Cora Alley; sisters, Edith Tolley and Virginia Buckner; special niece, Carol Sloan (Chuck); grandsons, Jeremy Alley and Tyler Alley (Autumn) and her best friend, Sue Atkins; several nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation celebrating Evelyn’s life will be held Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 11:15 to 12:30 pm in the 1st Floor Activity Room at Clearview Manor Apts., 1150 Vineyard Road, Vinton, Virginia 24179.
