Eric Andrew Byrd, 41, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017. He was a member of the Monacan Indian Nation and attended James River High School. He was a fan of the Washington Red Skins, Virginia Tech and Nascar legend Mark Martin.

Surviving family includes his mother, Paula Jones; brother and sister-in-law, Cory and Jessica Jones; step-father, David Jones; step-brother, Chris Jones and wife, Cathy; grandmother, Minnie Jones; nieces, Kyndall and Emilee Jones; nephews, Liam Jones, Colin Jones, and Chase Jones; uncle, Rev. Don Poff; cousin, Ladonna Eichner and husband, Mickey Rector, and pets, Diva and Apollo.
