Elizabeth Holdren Stevens, of Moneta, VA, died June 25, 2017. She was born November 6, 1927 to her parents, Hylton R. and Ruth Wheeler Holdren, who have preceded her in death. She has also been preceded in death by her brothers, Henry, Junior and Kenneth; grandchildren, Michael Taglio, Tammy H. Wingo and Jason Stevens.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, W. Ezra Stevens; son, Glenn (Pat) Stevens; daughters, Linda Huddleston and Trish (Mike) Taglio; grandchildren, Matt (Lynn) Huddleston, Melanie Stevens, Maribeth T. (Frank) Throneberry and Sarah T. (Kolby) Sweat; great-grandchildren, Anna S. (Steven) Griffin, Olivia Stevens, Kelsey Wingo, Patrick Stevens, Dillon Wingo, Wyatt Huddleston, Jackson and Piper Throneberry; one great-great-grandchild, Ava Griffin; step great-grandchildren, Carlie Wade, Rebecca Brown and Jayden Lee; step great-great-grandchildren, Calvin and Carter Miller. Additionally she is survived by sisters, Lorraine Leftwich, Jean (Bill) Chewning and Carolyn Wingfield, sister-in-laws, Frances Holdren and Kathy Holdren, and many other family and friends.
Elizabeth was an active, life-time member of Saunders Grove Church of the Brethren.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 2:00 pm at Lotz Vinton Chapel by Rev. Maynard Baker with visitation on Tuesday, June 27, from 4 to 8 pm. The burial will be at Parrish Chapel Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or Saunders Grove Church of the Brethren.
