Earl Lee Bowles, of Vinton, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was a member of the Vinton Moose Lodge. He was predeceased by his parents, Norris and Merlin Bowles; brothers, John P. Bowles, Harold Bowles, and Wilber Bowles; brothers-in-law, Robert Fransico and Marvin Craft, and grandchild, Nathan Brown.

Surviving family includes his wife, Joette Hedman; siblings, Marybelle Fransico, Ellen Craft, David Bowles and wife, Johnnie, Arlie Mae Boles and husband, Gene, and Mike Bowles and wife, Yvonne; daughters, Amanda Bowles, Diania Brown and husband, Brian, Jennifer Leonard and husband, Chris, and Jennifer Page, Gloria Brown; sons, Roger Hedman, Jr, Christopher Hedman and wife, Manuela; grandchildren, Joshua Whorley, James Whorley, Kara Cadd, Jessica and Joshua Brown, Samantha Bilbo and husband, Kevin, Sadie, Salina, and Sabrina Roberts, and Sophia Reddoch, Chris Hedman, Simon Veliz, Luke Koenig, Ivy Allen, John Fields, Aaron Brown, Kayla Buchanan and husband, John Tyler Buchanan; great-grandchildren, Jordan Whorley, Riley and Kiley Cadd, Bradyn Tarpley, Kaitlynn Johnson, Elijah Bilbo, Aleal Veliz, and Gabriel Veliz; three soon to arrive, several nieces, nephews and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Lotz Vinton Chapel with Rev Joey Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Wheeler Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton.
