Dencil Eugene Carter, 78, of Vinton, passed away Friday, June 30, 2017. Surviving family includes his wife of 52 years, Drema Carter; children, Tina and Timmy Goad, Michael and Christina Carter, Rachel (James Robertson) Carter, and Rebecca Carter; brothers, David and Henry Carter; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Roanoke with Rev. Jeff Gardner officiating.
