Della Louise DeLancey, 87, of Vinton, passed away to heaven peacefully surrounded by all who loved her deeply Saturday September 16, 2017. Della was born October 11, 1929, daughter of the late Robert Lewis Bowling and Thelma Wheeler Bowling. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul DeLancey. 

Surviving are her loving family: daughter, Susan Green (Tim); four grandchildren, Tim Woods, Brandy Kinley (Scott), Travis Woods (Ericka), Brittany VonCanon (Ryan); six great grandchildren, Kayla Meissner (Luke), Brianna Ferrell, Hunter Ferrell, Max (Trey) Woods, Bailee Woods, Avery VonCanon, Carter Woods; and one great great grandchild, Levi Meissner; a dear niece who was like a daughter, Michelle Mills (Dusty), and their children James, Matthew , Dana, and Jessica.
