David “Z Man” Zimmerman, 56, of Roanoke, found his way home following a short illness on Thursday, December 14, 2017. He was a loving father and friend and was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Gerrie Zimmerman.

Surviving family includes his son, Dustin Lee Zimmerman; best friend, John Hilovsky; ex-wife and dear friend, Glenna Zimmerman, and many other friends and work family.

A Celebration of His Life will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton, with Pastor Chris Kingery officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Online condolences may be made at www.lotzfuneralhomevinton.com
