Beatrice Hundley Saunders, 85, of King, NC, formerly of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband, John Calvin Saunders and daughter, Jackie Lester.

Surviving family includes daughters, Starr Chaplin, Kathy Lester-Anderson (Ned), Sherry Euton (Aaron), Curtina Brown (Wayne), and Hazel Lester (Bo), and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Mr. Charles Dwayne Mabe, Jr. (Chip) offociating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
