Lydick, Minnie Ruth, 79, of Goodview, wife of Frayne C. Lydick, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Roanoke and was owner of Country Petal Florist in Stewartsville. She was also partners with her husband in Pop’s and Mom’s Amusement Co. Along with her husband surviving family includes her mother, Jimison Adkins; sons and daughters-in-law, Chuck and Janet Oliver and David and Jo Oliver; sister, Sylvia Corbette; brother, Eric Adkins and wife, Laverne; aunt, Ada Karnes; and a close dear friend, Linda Anderson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Lotz Funeral Home Chapel in Vinton with Dr. Phil Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Stewartsville/Chamblissburg Lions Club.
