Lillie Myrle Lawhorn Gray, 94, of Vinton, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014.  She was  born September 8, 1919 to the late Noah and Dora Lawhorn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alton Gray; sisters, Ollie Pearl Lawhorn and Ethel Reese; brothers, Clyde Lawhorn, Harvey Lawhorn, Reeves Lawhorn and Herbert Lawhorn; niece, Dottie Ritter.

Survivors include step-son, Johnny Lee Gray and wife, Pat; step-grandchildren, Tabatha Atkinson and Michael Gray; numerous nieces and nephews; special nephews, Everett Noell and Marvin Lawhorn; special niece, Nina Blount; and a wonderful friend, Frances Spradlin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel with Pastor Roy McVey officiating.  Interment will follow at Glade Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
